OU Men's Golfers In Fourth At The Ridges Intercollegiate

NORMAN, Okla. - Following the first day of competition at The Ridges Intercollegiate in Johnson City, Tenn., the University of Oklahoma men's golf team is currently in fourth place as they posted rounds of 281 and 286 for a total of 564 (-9). The Sooners trail third-place Wake Forest by only three strokes entering the final round tomorrow. TCU is the tournament leader having shot a two-round score of 554.
Sophomore Martin Flores led OU and is currently tied for sixth place at six-under par. Flores fired a career-low 67 in the first round and finished out the day with a second round of 71 for a total of 138. Flores' previous career-low score was a 70.
Two shots behind Flores was senior J.D. Robertson who stands tied for 10th. Robertson posted two rounds of 70 to finish at four-under par. Senior Cody Freeman improved on his first-round score of 72 with a second-round 71. Freeman finished the day tied for 19th.
Junior Parker Foster is tied for 36th after shooting a 146 (+2) and junior Bridger Cox rounded out the scores for OU with a 150 and is tied for 55th.
The Sooners resume play Sunday morning at the Ridges Golf and Country Club.
