Texas Standout Signs with the Sooners

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma Head Coach Sherri Coale announced that Lindsey Casey of Longview, Texas (Longview High) has signed a national letter of intent to play for the women's basketball team next season.

Casey, a 6-1 forward, was a three-time all-district selection who averaged 14.3 points and 8.6 rebounds per game her final prep campaign. She also was voted to the Texas Athletic Basketball Coaches Association All-Region first team and was named to the All-State honorable mention team this past season.

We are very excited about Lindsey Casey joining our program," said Coale. She is a strong, tough kid who's a hard worker with a very disciplined work ethic. We expect Lindsey to improve our depth off the bench with her physical style of play."
