NORMAN, Okla. - University of Oklahoma sophomore Jadrea Seeley has decided to leave the women's basketball program for personal reasons. The 6-1 guard is expected to transfer to Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Okla., where her family resides.

As a Sooner, Seeley averaged 7.2 points, 1.7 rebounds and shot 47.8 percent from the field plus 83.8 percent from the free throw line during her two year stint. This past season, she averaged 6.7 ppg, 1.9 rpg while shooting 45.2 percent from the field and 80.4 percent from the stripe.

Seeley was named to the Kansas City Star All-Bench Team and was voted the team's most improved player as a freshman.

"We would like to wish her the best in her future endeavors," said Coach Sherri Coale, who led the Sooners to back-to-back Big 12 regular season titles and NCAA Sweet 16 appearances. "Jadrea is a very talented player who needs to feel comfortable with her surroundings and playing time."
