COACH SHERRI COALE
Giving credit to Washington...
I have to give Washington a great deal of credit. We didn't play well
enough to win. Washington did.
On her team's poor shooting from the field...
I was very surprised. We shot the ball so well in this arena the last
two days, it was almost scary. We were settling for threes. That's fine
if it is going into the basket, but if not, you better make the other
team guard you. We couldn't seem to get anything going our way.
STACY DALES
On the Washington defense...
There defense was very active. We were very well scouted.
On her team's lack of execution...
We didn't execute. Five players did not execute. We were not on the same
page.
CATON HILL
On the Washington defense...
They were very physical. They are very quick and they get their hands on
the ball. They are a very scrappy team. In the beginning, that shook us
up. They are a very solid, scrappy team.
On Oklahoma's inability to capatilize on turnovers...
In the first half, we had some stops and some opportunities to score and
we did not take advantage of that. Give them credit, they are a very
good team.
