COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The University of Oklahoma women's tennis team suffered a 6-1 loss at No. 16 Texas A&M Thursday. The Sooners drop to 4-5 on the season overall and 0-3 in Big 12 Conference action.
Oklahoma's lone victory in the match came at No. 1 singles where senior Viviana Mracnova topped Texas A&M's Jessica Roland, 6-4, 6-1. Mracnova upped her season record to 5-2 at the top spot. At Nos. 4 and 5 singles, senior Stephanie Sajbert and Tiffany Streeter went to three sets before falling to Leah Killen and Roberta Spencer.
In doubles action, the Aggies took all three spots to claim the doubles point.
OU continues its road trip on Saturday in Austin, Texas, when it takes on the No. 10 Texas Longhorns.
