Stacey Dales is a 6-0 junior point guard on the OU women's basketball team who earned first-team All-America honors this season. She was also a member of Canada's women's basketball team last year's Olympics in Sydney, Australia. A native of Brockville, Ontario, Dales has guided the Sooners to two straight NCAA Sweet 16 appearances.

How did you get started playing basketball?
Through the Brockville Blazers organization - a club league beginning in the 5th grade.

Why do you wear your jersey number?
As a young girl I enjoyed the way Dominique Wilkins played the game. He wore #21 - it was different.

What's your favorite pregame meal?
Baked potato, chicken breast pasta and tomato sauce, and a peanut butter sandwich.

What's your favorite junk food?
Ice cream

My parents and my brother
