NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Stacey Dales had 20 points and 10 assists as No. 10 Oklahoma beat Kansas State 79-60 on Wednesday night.

LaNeishea Caufield added 16 points to help Oklahoma (20-4, 11-1 Big 12) take the conference lead from Iowa State. Jamie Talbert had 11 points for the Sooners.

Kristin Rethman had 19 points for Kansas State (11-12, 1-11). Rethman made all five of her 3-point attempts.

Oklahoma scored the final 13 points of the first half to take a 38-23 lead.

"We struggle and step out of it for periods and become more focused," Dales said. "Suddenly, we're up seven, then it's nine, then 11. Good teams have to have that killer instinct."

The Sooners opened the second half with a 9-1 run and led by as many as 24 points.

"We talked about blowing it open," Oklahoma coach Sherri Coale said. "And we were able to do that in that last four or five minutes to get some flow. That was a reflection of what we thought could happen."

Oklahoma moved a game in front of Iowa State in the Big 12 standings with the No. 6 Cyclones' 73-66 loss at Colorado.
