  • Oklahoma moves to 4-1 on the 2001-2002 season with the 80-74 victory, while St. Bonaventure falls to 3-2.
  • Oklahoma has now won 16 of its last 17 games played at Lloyd Noble Center, including a perfect 3-0 mark this year.
  • OU shot 50% from the field in the first half on its way to a 36-35 halftime lead.
  • Oklahoma shot 17-for-30 in the second half, an excellent 56.7%. For the game, OU shot 53.2% from the field.
  • OU's Aaron McGhee grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds. The Lloyd Noble Center record for rebounds in a game is 23 and is held by Stacey King (vs. Loyola Marymount in 1988) and Harvey Grant (vs. Loyola of Chicago in 1987).
  • McGhee added 19 points for his second career double-double and his second in three games (19 points, 11 rebounds vs. Central Michigan on Nov. 18).
  • OU trailed by as many as six points in the second half, but took a 65-63 lead at the 5:45 mark of the second half. It was a lead they would not relinquish.
  • The Sooners held a 44-24 edge in points in the paint in tonight's game.
  • Oklahoma's Ebi Ere scored 17 points and added six rebounds and four assists. He was named the Big 12 Rookie of the Week for his efforts against Central Michigan and Arkansas last week.
  • Ere has now scored in double figures in four of his five career contests as a Sooner.
  • St. Bonaventure was led by J.R. Bremer's 23 points. He is the reigning Atlantic 10 Conference Co-Player of the Week and came into the game averaging 24.3 ppg.
  • Vidal Massiah added 21 points for the Bonnies, including 13 in the first half.
  • OU continued its hot shooting from the free throw line, going 8-for-11 in tonight's game, good for 72.7%. Ere and Price have yet to miss a free throw on the year.
  • OU grabbed 45 rebounds to just 28 for the Bonnies, including a 16-13 edge on the offensive glass.
  • Oklahoma has now out-rebounded its opponent in four of its five games this season and has had more offensive rebounds in each of its five games.
