Oklahoma Head Coach Kelvin Sampson
On the Game:
"I was most impressed with our offense tonight. Our team showed discipline and mental toughness and that is what I look for in all of our teams. I know that Eastern Illinois is a better team than this game showed. They only lost to Georgia Tech by six points. They just caught us on a bad night when everything went our way. This is the best we've played all season. We're on a seven-game winning streak and it's great to see us play our best game on the seventh win."

On OU's rebounding:
"That shows the tremendous effort by our players. We've got some tough kids that are getting tougher. Jason Detrick came off the bench and had 10 rebounds and Jozsef Szendrei had 11, so that was a definite positive for our team."

On upcoming game with No. 2 Maryland:
"This game is a great opportunity for not only the OU basketball program, but the entire University of Oklahoma. This will be the premier game in the country on Friday night and we've got to fill this place up. We'll have two excellent basketball teams going against each other. I think that we can beat anyone in the country if we have all of our fans in this building to help us."

Oklahoma Guard Hollis Price
On tonight's game:
"Saturday and Sunday, we scored 100 points, but we didn't play the way I know we can play. We had some lapses and there was a lot to improve on. Tonight, we played the full 40 minutes. We did a good job to start the game and our second team came in and kept it up."

On OU's defensive success tonight:
"We did an excellent job against Henry Domercant and you have to give a lot of credit to Ebi for that. He held him to just 12 points before he checked out. They tried to get him the ball and it seemed like their other players didn't play as aggressively. That worked to our advantage."

Oklahoma Forward Aaron McGhee
On tonight's game:
"I just went out there and had a lot of fun. We just wanted to play hard and keep up the effort we've been showing in the last three games. I got into a rhythm and my shot felt really good out there. This is a very good win for us."

On the team's confidence:
"With Jabahri coming back, all of our pieces are here now. Our team is complete and is everyone just has a lot of confidence. Everyone is at ease now that we have all of our elements out there. Jabahri is getting the feel of things and it's helping our team a lot. We all have a lot of confidence right now."

Eastern Illinois Head Coach Rick Samuels
On the game:
"I had no suggestions or solutions, even at halftime. They defended us and took us completely out of our offense. We've got to find other options besides Henry Domercant. We were all frustrated."

On the first half:
"It was a snowball when it got going. It got us before we could get our head out of water."

On Oklahoma:
"They're aggressive and they defended our motion offense very well. They were a little less physical than Illinois but they had more finesse."
