  • Oklahoma improved to 2-1 on the season with the 81-64 victory, while Central Michigan, the defending champions of the Mid-American Conference, fell to 2-2.
  • Tonight's contest was Oklahoma's first ever against Central Michigan. CMU is now 0-3 all-time against Big 12 teams.

  • OU held a 38-36 halftime lead in tonight's contest. The Sooners shot 13-for-27 (48.1%) in the opening stanza and out-rebounded the Chippewas 19-12.
  • OU went on a 17-5 run in the crucial first seven minutes of the second half.
  • OU's six blocked shots and 37 rebounds were both team season highs. The Sooners dished out 17 assists, tying the season high set against Central Connecticut State.
