OU Men's Golfers Tied For 11th At Long Cove Invitational

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's golf team concluded second round action at the Long Cove Invitational in Hilton Head, S.C., tied for 11th place. The Sooners finished out the day with a team score of 299 (+15) at the par-71, 7,026-yard Long Cove Golf Course and currently have a two-round total of 598 (+30).
OU was led in the second round by junior John Kidwell (Dallas, Texas) and sophomore Martin Flores (Mansfield, Texas), who each carded second-round scores of 72. Kidwell is currently tied for 23rd overall with a two-round total of 148 (+6), while Flores is a shot back and tied for 30th.
One shot behind Flores is senior J.D. Robertson (Little Rock, Ark.), who shot a 76 on Saturday to finish the day tied for 36th. Senior Cody Freeman (Arnett, Okla.) carded a 78 and is tied for 45th while junior Parker Foster (Tulsa, Okla.) finished out the scoring for Oklahoma with an 81 to stand tied for 64th.
The Sooners will begin final round action Sunday morning.
