Norman, Okla. - Sophomore Caton Hill (Ada, Okla.) produced three-straight double-doubles and led the nationally-ranked Oklahoma women's basketball team to a 3-0 record over the holiday break to capture Big 12 Conference Player of the Week honors in a vote of a media panel for games during the holiday break from Dec. 18-31.
Hill led OU with 22 points and 10 rebounds in the Sooners' 102-98 overtime win against nationally-ranked Stanford in Norman on Dec. 27. She also shot 71.4 percent from the field (10-for-14) and had two assists against the Cardinals. Against North Texas, Caton shot 66.7 percent from the field while scoring 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in Oklahoma's 75-61 win. She also had four assists and two steals against the Lady Eagles. Against San Diego, she had 14 points and 11 rebounds in OU's 65-63 win.
Over the three game span, she's averaged 16.0 points and 11.3 rebounds and shot 59.0 from the field (23-for-39) while playing 30.7 minutes per game.
