Fans Can Receive Discount At Women's Basketball Game

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma basketball fans who attend the men's game Tuesday against Big 12 opponent Texas A&M can see the women's Big 12 contest on Wednesday, Jan. 10, against No. 12/17 Texas for only $2.00. All fans have to do is bring their ticket stubs from Tuesday's men's game to the women's game the following night.

Both games begin at 7 p.m. and will be played at Lloyd Noble Center, located at the southwest corner of Imhoff Road and Chatauqua Avenue, just north of Highway 9 in Norman.

The women's team is currently ranked 19th in the Associated Press and 16th in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' polls. The Sooners sport an overall record of 9-4 and 1-1 in league action.

OU's junior backcourt tandem of LaNeishea Caufield and Stacey Dales leads the Sooners with 16.7 and 16.1 points per game, respectively. The duo also leads the league and ranks among the nation's best in steals (Caufield, 4.3 spg) and assists (Dales, 7.8 apg) per game. As a team, Oklahoma averages 81.6 points and 41.8 rebounds per game.
