Women's Basketball Tops No. 23 Baylor, 90-87

WACO, Texas (AP) - Stacey Dales scored 28 points to lead 17th-ranked Oklahoma past No. 23 Baylor 90-87 Saturday night.

Caton Hill added 18 points, LaNeishea Caufield 11, and Jen Cunningham 10 - including a key three-point play in the final minute - for Oklahoma (11-4, 3-1 Big 12).

Oklahoma shot 54 percent (30-56) for the game.

The Sooners shot 59 percent in the first half and led by as many as 14 points before the Lady Bears went on a 7-0 run to make it 51-40 at halftime.

Baylor (13-2, 2-2) lost despite a game-high 30 points from Sheila Lambert. Danielle Crockrom had 28 points, Monica Arnold 12.

Baylor opened the second half on a 15-3 run to take a 62-60 lead at the 11:46 mark.

Dales' two free throws with 1:43 left gave Oklahoma an 85-84 lead, but Lambert hit one of two free throws on Baylor's next possession to tie the game.

The Sooners missed their next shot, but Cunningham grabbed an offensive rebound and scored while being fouled.
