Oklahoma Baseball Homerun Club To Host Golf Tournament

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma baseball Homerun Club is hosting its 2000 Golf Tournament, Fri., May 5, at the OU Jimmie Austin Golf Course. The cost is $125 per person and includes green fees, cart, practice balls, lunch, a shirt, a bag tag and prizes. The event is limited to the first 120 players registered.

In attendance will be former major league and current Oklahoma baseball players and coaches. The format for the tournament is a four- or five-person scramble starting at 1 p.m. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m., and a lunch will be served for all golfers at noon.

Prizes will be given to the first-, second- and third-place teams, as well as for the longest drive, closest to the hole and nearest to the line. For more information, call Elton Davis (405) 321-3970.
