Line-ups finalized for Red/White Classic

Norman, Okla. - The line-ups for the Red/White Classic wrestling ranking match, to be held Sunday, Nov. 5 at the OU Field House have been set. Six returning starters will battle for spots in the line-up.

At 125 pounds, Bo Maynes (So.) will face junior Matt Ridings. Both wrestlers saw dual action last season and Maynes narrowly decisioned Ridings in their only meeting during team competition last season. Returning starter Witt Durden battles Melvin Lofton, who split time at 133 and 141 pounds, in the 133-pound bout. Three-time All-American Michael Lightner will battle transfer Brett Robinson at 141 pounds. In the 149-pound match, two-time NCAA qualifier Jared Frayer will wrestle true freshman Daniel Rubenstein. Mark Worthy faces Rosty Walker at 157 pounds. Worthy redshirted last season while Walker lost in his only dual action. NCAA qualifier Robbie Waller and James O'Leary will face off at 165 pounds. The 174-pound match will feature 1999 Big 12 runner-up Michael Barger and Rowdy Lundegreen, who competed at 184 pounds last season. Transfer and 2000 Southern Conference champion Josh Lambrecht will face Jeff Henning at 184. 1999 Big 12 runner-up Waymon May battles true freshman Joel Tapler in the 197-pound match. The heavyweight match will feature a redshirt Leonce Crump and junior Gary Barber.
