NORMAN, Okla. - Game time for Saturday's Oklahoma-Texas baseball game at OU's L. Dale Mitchell Park has been changed from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. to accommodate commencement exercises on the OU campus.
The three-game Big 12 Conference series is the final regular-season series for both teams and will begin with Friday's 7 p.m. contest. Sunday's series finale is slated for 1 p.m.
Oklahoma (35-16, 14-11 Big 12) is coming off the annual Bedlam Series in which 37,164 saw the Sooners take two of three from Oklahoma State, assuring OU a chance to defend its title at the 1998 Big 12 Tournament May 14-17 at Southwestern Bell Bricktown Ballpark.
Texas (23-29, 11-15) is coming off a three-game home series with Nebraska in which the Longhorns took two of three from the Cornhuskers, including an 8-0 win in Sunday's decisive game.
