NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma volleyball team drops its second-consecutive five-game match in as many outings to Big 12 Conference foe Kansas Wednesday night at the Horejsi Athletics Center in Lawrence, Kan. The Jayhawks defeated the Sooners with game scores of 6-15, 15-2, 13-15, 15-9, 15-13.
Oklahoma used a balance attack as five players ended the match with double digit kills. Sophomore Danielle Bookout ended the evening one kill shy of tying her career best as she landed a match-high 19 spikes. However, the Hereford, Texas, native did establish personal bests in hitting efficiency with a .531 (19K-2E-32TA) and service aces with four. Bookout also contributed six blocks.

Both teams hit .240 for the match but KU landed 75 kills to OU's 69. The Jayhawks also held a 76-66 advantage in the digs category but Oklahoma collected 15.0 blocks to Kansas' 10.0.
