Men's Hoops Reveals Big 12 Slate

NORMAN – The Big 12 Conference announced the 2022-23 men's basketball schedule Friday, completing the University of Oklahoma men's basketball team's schedule for the upcoming season. The Sooners open league play against Texas Saturday, Dec. 31 at Lloyd Noble Center.
Oklahoma's home conference slate is highlighted by four additional Saturday contests against West Virginia (Jan. 14), Baylor (Jan. 21), Kansas (Feb. 11) and TCU (March 11). OU's remaining home contests are against Iowa State (Wednesday, Jan. 4), Oklahoma State (Wednesday, Feb. 1), Kansas State (Tuesday, Feb. 14) and Texas Tech (Tuesday, Feb. 21).
OU starts its league road schedule against Texas Tech on Saturday, Jan. 7 and concludes the month with away contests against Kansas (Tuesday, Jan. 10), Oklahoma State (Wednesday, Jan. 18) and TCU (Tuesday, Jan. 24).
The Sooners break from league action to host Alabama in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge Saturday, Jan. 28 before playing February conference road games at West Virginia (Saturday, Feb. 4), Baylor (Wednesday, Feb. 8), Texas (Saturday, Feb. 18) and Iowa State (Saturday, Feb. 25).
OU plays its final away contest of the season against Kansas State on Wednesday, March 1.
The 2023 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship will be held March 8-11 in Kansas City, Mo., at the T-Mobile Center.
In total, 17 of Oklahoma's 18 conference contests will be featured on ESPN platforms. Oklahoma's Feb. 11 home contest against Kansas is one of four Big 12 games that will air on CBS.

The Sooners host Oklahoma City University Oct. 25 for their lone exhibition of the season and open the regular season under second-year head coach Porter Moser on Nov. 7 against Sam Houston at Lloyd Noble Center.
