Another Scorcher for Wednesday
Sooners notch evening practice before second installment of two-a-days.
NORMAN, Okla. -- If football coaches love hot weather for preseason
drills, Oklahoma's staff must be grinning ear to ear.
Mother Nature delivered another scorcher on Wednesday
evening with temperatures
in the mid-nineties and a stiff south breeze. The Sooners
worked in full pads for two-and-a-half hours at the
OU rugby fields.
Thursday brings a return to two-a-days with workouts
slated for 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
After an off day on Friday,
the Sooners welcome fans to their first preseason scrimmage
on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Gaylord Family - Oklahoma
Memorial Stadium. Complete fan information for the
scrimmage is located
here.
