• Basketball season has arrived. Catch your first glimpse of the 2009-10 Sooners with exhibition games this week at the LNC. All students get in free with a valid Student ID.

• Men's basketball student season ticket holders can now pick up your tickets for the first five home games. Print-at-home or pick them up in person:

• Watch Toby Keith's new "Cryin' for Me (Wayman's Song)" music video, a tribute to Sooner legend Wayman Tisdale, who passed away from cancer in May.
• There's Only One Homecoming week, and this is it. Come celebrate Homecoming against K-State on Saturday, Oct. 31 on Halloween night. A complete list of festivities throughout the week is available here:

• Both the Sooner men's and women's basketball teams held their first official practices of the season last week. Follow their progress as they prepare for the upcoming season with daily updates:

• OU softball's hosts its fall finale on Tuesday, Oct. 20. Admission donations and concessions proceeds will benefit the Mariee Mena Memorial Fund in honor of the former student-athlete who passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

• If you're staying in Norman, soccer and volleyball are both in action right here at home. Admission is free and Sooner Nation points are on the table.
• Then, U2 comes to OU! The U2 360° Tour hits Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 18. View a live webcam of the stage set-up throughout the week, in addition to complete concert details:

• Don't forget to pick up your football tickets by 5 p.m., on Wednesday the week of each home game. The print-at-home option is always convenient, or you may pick up your tickets in person at the Ticket Office:

• Wednesday, Oct. 7 is Greek Night when the OU volleyball team hosts No. 14 Iowa State at 7 p.m. The first 250 fans get a pair of Oklahoma sunglasses and all OU students in attendance will receive free pizza.
